I know a lot of people will say, football (soccer) is the most popular sport in the world but is so popular in Asia Cricket etcUnd I said that cricket is the most popular sport in the world! But I say cricket or rugby, the most popular sport in the world but football (soccer) is to be the most passionate in the world! Who agrees with me?

It really depends on WHERE in the world you are. Though soccer is huge in Europe and Central and South America, it isn’t so much in North America, Asia and Oceania. In fact, in countries like the U.S.its probably even less popular than bowling.

Whats fooking soccer(don’t answer i already know),it’s football,foot,the thing on the end of your leg,and ball,the thing the foot kicks.I hate the word soccer,the Americans use it but football was football before American football was American football,they don’t even kick the ball all the time,they run around holding it,why did they not call it American rugby,doh,erm,sorry about the rant,erm,yeah eh football.
soccer is number one in the world, both for playing and attendance. cricket is the second most played sport in the world. most passionate fans goes to soccer. but the way the cricket players are going at it. may just be a matter of time before cricket fans go nuts. very good question. it is nice to see a young lady answer .
Soccer for sure. It`s by far the most popular sport in America (except US and Canada), Europe, Africa, Most of the Asian countries like Korea , China , Japan… and starting to grow in Australia.
