I’d say Lacrosse. Thats huge there and they are pretty good, maybe top 10 in the country for D1.

If you’re looking to boost your resume, play whatever you’re good at or enjoy the most! I ran cross country for four years, wasn’t good at it, but stuck it out and it helped me stay in shape. Cross country is a good sport to get used to running (you’ll do a lot in the military) and stay in good cardiovascular shape. Swimming is another good activity to get you in shape and start a lifelong hobby, but also to be prepared for the swimming requirements at USNA.

If you want to be an intercollegiate athlete (play varsity as opposed to club/IM), they are a D1 school with the usual sports. Most midshipmen are recruited for the major sports, but some walk on to every team, and there are some sports that typically take a large proportion of walk-ons (fencing, water polo, boxing, for example). Good luck!
