So tell her you wanna see her mid-week when your more open to doing fun stuff with her instead of the weekend when your already drained. Just put it in your own words to make it believable. The first is the ideal: have a significant other that enjoys watching sports with you. Simple. Two: Get married and stop dating. Three: drop something heavy on your foot and break it, you'll be glued to the couch with good reason, although the pain meds might dull your enjoyment of the games. Seriously though, just be honest. Tell your partner that there are great sports this weekend, but your date night are impotant to you, and that you don't want to sacrifice one for the other. 4. We are constantly moving, jumping, throwing, and yelling and we do all of that with a big smile on our face.

There are so many more reasons but these are just a few.
